What you asked for, what we'll do, and what it costs. Enough to make YPO Bangalore the first chapter to go carbon-neutral, and to do it credibly.
Good speaking with you. You want YPO Bangalore carbon-neutral this year because it's the right thing to do, you want it to outlast your term, and you want other chapters to copy it. That's the programme we run, and it's a straight extension of the net-zero work Brigade is already doing.
We run the whole thing, so your team barely lifts a finger. You give us the data. We handle measurement, the offsets, the certificate, and a live number for every board meeting. Below: the approach, the commercials in two clean parts, and the note on Climes and the Sustainability Mafia you asked for.
Every chapter activity goes onto Carbon-OS: flights, hotel nights, food and food waste, vendors, all 40-odd events. One or two people from Girish's team enter the data, we clean it and train them until it's self-serve. Live within a week, updated through the year, so you always have a current number.
Once the numbers are in, the hotspots are obvious, and flights and retreats will lead. Cut where you want to, and we'll bring in Sustainability Mafia solutions to help. Where members would rather offset than cut, that's fine. We won't push reductions on you, we'll just show you where they sit.
Whatever's left, we neutralise with verified Verra and Gold Standard credits. All 84 members vote on the projects from a map of India, so it's the chapter's pick, not one person's. Credits are retired in YPO Bangalore's name, with an audit-grade certificate each quarter. Same model we ran for the Netflix production of Operation Safed Sagar, where the cast and crew chose the projects.
The ₹24L I first mentioned blended platform and credits into one number. Cleaner to split them: a fixed fee for the platform and our team, then credits only for what we actually measure.
Carbon-OS is a real-time record. Every month we hand you the emissions for the period, the hotspots, the projects to offset against, and any cuts underway. Tanya presents it, we do the work behind it. That monthly rhythm turns this from a one-off into the chapter's default, and into the thing you hand the next chair.
Five years old, carbon data analytics and offsets. We get you measuring right first, then neutralise only the residual. End to end, audit-grade, done for you.
A foundation I co-founded, 85 climate founders across water, waste, energy, air and carbon. It's how we bring real reduction solutions to the chapter, and there's a clear overlap with the companies Brigade REAP and Earth Fund back.
We send the MOU. One page: scope, timelines, services. Ready to sign.
You name a data owner. One or two people with Girish. We set up the login and train them.
We go live in a week. Measurement starts, members vote on projects, monthly board updates begin.
No YPO chapter has done this yet. Do it well this year and you set the template every other chapter copies, exactly the legacy you described. We'd be proud to build it with you, and to keep it running long after your term.
